Screen Folder, Italy, circa 1970

Impressive in size and details, this folding screen in the manner of Fornasetti was manufactured in Italy during the late 1970s. For each of the three panels that are adorned on both sides the artist used the “Mokulito” technique, or wood lithography in Japanese. Mokulito usually produces small editions of under ten prints which makes this piece a limited edition, unique piece and a highly valuable item.
